The Department of Aging Health of the National Health and Health Commission went to the Chinese Society of Geriatrics for investigation
On October 9, Director Wang Haidong of the Department of Aging Health of the National Health Commission, Inspector Zhang Hui, Deputy Director Liu Fang, Director Wang Lijuan of the medical and nursing combination, Director Li Xueting of the Health Service, Deputy Director Liu Ming and his colleagues went to the Chinese Society of Geriatrics to conduct research on elderly health related work such as long-term care and medical and nursing combination.
The meeting focused on the elderly disability and dementia care, long-term care for the elderly, nursing personnel training, mechanism establishment and other issues launched a heated discussion. During the discussion, the leaders of the Chinese Geriatric Society introduced the MDT model of geriatric comorbiditis and multidisciplinary joint treatment, the new clinical diagnosis and treatment model of geriatric disease comprehensive assessment, nutrition intervention, rehabilitation care and hospice care, and the work of geriatric care, old-age standards, combination of medical and nursing care, personnel training, science popularization and public welfare.
Director Wang Haidong fully affirmed the positive contribution made by the Chinese Geriatric Society to the medical and health of the elderly in recent years, and hoped that the Chinese Geriatric Society will continue to adhere to the public welfare, academic and standardization, pay attention to the transformation of results, and create the brand of the society. Give play to the role of expert think tank and bridge, cooperate with the relevant work of the National Health and Health Commission, establish the elderly health care service system and standards for the country, and provide a reference for the development of relevant policies at the national level.
