The General Election Meeting of the Medical Care Branch of the Chinese Society of Geriatrics
On September 29, 2021, the second Committee election conference of the Medical Care Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society was successfully held in Beijing, and the conference was conducted in the form of a combination of online and offline meetings. The meeting successfully completed the election of the new leadership, Standing Committee and members of the Committee.
Fan Li, President of Chinese Geriatric Society, Xu Xiaodong, Vice President and Secretary General, came to guide. In accordance with the requirements of epidemic prevention and control, more than 30 nursing experts and committee representatives from the Beijing area attended the meeting offline, and 278 members recommended by experts in the field of elderly care and the second Committee of the Medical Care Branch from all over the country participated in the meeting online.
The General meeting was presided over by Hou Huiru, Executive Vice President of the Medical Care Branch, Xu Xiaodong, Vice president and Secretary General of the Chinese Geriatric Society, read the "Approval of the Medical Care Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society";, and Professor PI Hongying, director of the preparatory Committee for the transition, reported the preparatory work for the transition. Zhao Jianguo, deputy Secretary-General of the Chinese Geriatric Society, read out the "Report on the qualification examination of Committee members" and the election method. Professor PI Hongying of PLA General Hospital was elected president of the second Committee of the Medical Care Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Hou Huiru was elected executive vice president, Guo Na, Jing Liwei, Fan Ling, Zhang Lingjuan, Chen Yongyi, Liu Xueqin, Hu Xiuying, Lu Hao and other 8 nursing experts were elected vice president. President PI Hongying nominated Shi Haiyan as Director General, Lai Chunyun, Zhang Hongmei, Sun Ying, Wei Yingdong, Chen Wenyao, Wan Huan, Wei Lin, Liu Li and Cao Li as Deputy Directors General.
