The national-level recommended continuing medical education project, "Training Course on Standardized Construction of Medical and Elderly Care Integration", was successfully held in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province
From June 14th to 15th, 2025, the "Medical and Elderly Care Integration Standardization Construction Training Course" was successfully held in Xi 'an, Shaanxi Province, hosted by the Medical and Elderly Care Integration Promotion Committee of the Chinese Geriatrics Society and organized by the Second People's Hospital of Shaanxi Province (Shaanxi Provincial Geriatric Hospital). This training course was recommended as a national continuing medical education project (Project Number: On March 10-030, 2025-(National), the aim is to further implement the relevant national policy requirements, strengthen the construction of standardized talent teams in the field of medical and elderly care integration, and improve the quality and level of medical and elderly care integration services. More than 150 experts in the field of medical and elderly care integration from all over the country and representatives of related institutions participated in this training course.

The event was presided over by Lin Feng and Yu Yong, vice presidents of the Medical and Elderly Care Integration Promotion Committee of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, Yang Changchun, a standing committee member, Wu Erjun, deputy director of the Intervertebral disc Intervention Department of the Second People's Hospital of Shaanxi Province, and Miao Rui, director of the Neurology Department.
This training course also arranged an on-site visit, study and discussion session. The trainees came to the Second People's Hospital of Shaanxi Province (Shaanxi Provincial Geriatric Hospital), and under the guidance of the relevant person in charge of the hospital, they gained a thorough understanding of the specific implementation of the hospital's medical and elderly care integration work, including the configuration of facilities and equipment, service process management, professional personnel allocation and other aspects, and conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges. Through on-site observation and experience sharing, the trainees gained a more intuitive and clear understanding of the operation and management of medical and elderly care integrated institutions, providing useful references for the development of their own institutions.
