Cao Feng, Vice President of the second Council of the Chinese Geriatric Society
Chief physician/Professor, doctoral supervisor, Department of Cardiology, Second Medical Center, Chinese People's Liberation Army General Hospital. Executive Deputy Director, National Clinical Research Center for Geriatric Diseases. Winner of the National Science Fund for Outstanding Young People, National outstanding scientific and technological workers, selected for the National tens of Millions of Talents Project, young and middle-aged experts with outstanding contributions to the military, and national young and middle-aged experts in cardiovascular intervention.
He is currently the deputy head of the Clinical Group of the Cardiovascular Society of the Chinese Medical Association, the vice president of the Chinese Geriatric Society, the member of the cardiovascular Committee of the whole Army, the Standing Committee of the Cardiovascular Society of the Beijing Medical Association, the Standing Committee of the Chinese Molecular Imaging Society and the editorial board of the Chinese Journal of Cardiovascular Diseases.
He has been engaged in basic and clinical research of imaging diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases for a long time, and has taken the lead in establishing early identification of vulnerable plaques, tracing of cardiac stem cells in vivo, and multi-modal imaging evaluation techniques of blood vessel morphology and function in the world. He has published more than 130 SCI papers as the first/corresponding author in journals such as Circulation, European Heart J and Circ Res, and a single paper has been cited up to 358 times. He is the chief editor and editor of 10 monographs such as Molecular Imaging, and his research results have been written into 64 English books.
He undertook 16 projects including the National Outstanding Youth Fund, the National Natural Science Foundation of China, and key international cooperation projects, wrote 3 clinical guidelines such as "Diagnosis and Treatment of infection-induced senile Multiple organ dysfunction Syndrome", and formulated 6 national group standards. The achievements won the first prize and second prize of the military Scientific and technological Progress, the first prize of the military medical achievements and the China Industry-University-Research Military-Civilian Integration Award.
