Health Management Branch of Chinese Geriatric Society Launches a Series of Activities of "Party Building + Free Clinic"
On the morning of June 14, 2023, when the hot summer in Beijing was coming, Wang Guangjing, deputy director general of the Health Management Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and his team went to the Rubber Courtyard community of Tiancun Road, Haidian District, Beijing, to carry out "Party building + free diagnosis" public welfare activities.
Team members measure blood pressure and blood sugar for the elderly on site, do carotid ultrasound and other examinations, carry out cerebrovascular disease prevention consultation, varicose vein treatment consultation, and nutrition support, exercise and other health education.
This activity was highly valued by community leaders, Director Liu Lu personally visited the scene to guide, the staff fully cooperated, and more than 60 people were served with health services. This activity helps community residents establish a correct health awareness and advocate a scientific, civilized and healthy lifestyle. In the future, the branch will continue to practice the purpose of "developing geriatric medicine and serving the health of the elderly"; of the Chinese Geriatric Society, integrate high-quality resources, continue to carry out a series of public welfare activities of "Party building + free diagnosis", promote the sinking of high-quality medical resources, so that the elderly can enjoy convenient and accurate health services at their door.
