Leading Experts of Chinese Geriatric Society Attend the 8th Tianfu Clinical Nutrition Summit Forum

In order to further promote the development of clinical nutrition discipline Alliance of West China Hospital of Sichuan University and clinical nutrition discipline across the country, the 8th Tianfu Clinical Nutrition Summit Forum was held in Chengdu on June 5, 2021. Professor Fan Li, President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, Professor Zhang Qiujian, honorary Chairman of the Expert Committee of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and Professor Hu Wen, Vice President of the Chinese Geriatric Society and President of the Nutrition and Food Safety Branch, were invited to attend the meeting. The conference was hosted by West China Hospital of Sichuan University, Sichuan Dietitian Association, Sichuan Nutrition Society, Sichuan West China Health Education Consulting Center, and Western Sichuan Medical Technology Transfer Center.

More than 350 practitioners and related practitioners, focusing on the forefront of clinical nutrition trends and focal issues to give keynote speeches and discussions, sharing the academic feast of clinical nutrition.

Professor Fan Li, president of the Chinese Geriatrics Society, made a report on the theme of "Thinking on the Development and management of Geriatrics".

 Hu Wen, Vice President of the Chinese Geriatric Society, President of the Nutrition and Food Safety Branch and Professor of Sichuan University West China Hospital, addressed the opening ceremony.

At the same time, the conference held the national continuing medical education project "Family Nutrition Management and Professional skills Training" sponsored by the Chinese Geriatric Society and the Nutrition and Food Safety Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and the experts and peers shared the latest consensus on family nutrition management and management status at home and abroad, and standardized the application of continuous nutrition outside the hospital.
