"Health Lecture Hall" will be held soon
Young people are strong, the country is strong, and old people are safe! Bathing in the spring breeze of The Times, bearing the responsibility for public health, in order to promote the construction of a healthy China, the implementation of the "Healthy China 2030 Plan Outline" and the "National Nutrition Action Plan" propose to protect the health of the whole life cycle, establish nutrition improvement measures to meet the needs of different elderly groups, and promote "healthy aging". Since 2016, the "Health Lecture Hall" built by the Nutrition and Food Safety Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society has carried out various forms of public welfare activities such as nutrition, health and food hygiene and safety education and free clinic for the elderly nationwide.
The "Health Lecture Hall" series of activities aims to strengthen health education and promote the health of the whole people with the cooperation of local people's governments and civil affairs departments, so that there are no stragglers under the banner of "healthy China". To improve the health level of all citizens in old age is the responsibility and mission of the Nutrition and Food Safety Branch of the Chinese Geriatric Society, and the common goal of all colleagues in the field of nutrition and food hygiene. The "Health Lecture Hall" activity will join hands with senior medical experts to take the health of the elderly population as its responsibility, actively disseminate scientific knowledge of nutrition through a series of activities, strengthen the construction of preventive health care service system, and help the elderly to shape self-disciplined health behaviors.
